Charles Brown, II CPRP
About
Charles Brown II began working with the City of Atlanta in April 2007 and currently holds the position of Recreation Assistant Director in the Office of Recreation. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the operations of recreation centers, including the City of Atlanta’s 250-acre resident camp at Lake Allatoona in Acworth, Georgia. Additionally, he assists with the operation and program needs for the Athletic department.
Mr. Brown attended Savannah State University on a full academic and baseball scholarship, graduating with a major in Recreation and Park Administration with a concentration in Sports Management and a minor in Business. He also holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Management from the NASPAA-accredited program at Central Michigan University.
