2026 Annual Conference Off-Site-Tour of Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall at University of Georgia Athletics

Experience a behind-the-scenes tour of Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall at University of Georgia Athletics. Participants will receive an inside look at the state-of-the-art athletic facilities that support student-athlete development and daily operations. The tour will include visits to the indoor football practice field, weight room, meeting rooms, athlete dining facility, trophy room, and additional athletic support spaces throughout the complex. Guests will gain insight into athletic operations, facility management, and the role recreation and wellness play in collegiate athletics. 

Program Objectives 

1.Increase participant understanding of collegiate athletic operations, recreational programming, and student-athlete support services within a major university setting. 

2.Provide educational exposure to athletic training, wellness, and performance facilities that contribute to recreation, health, and team development. 

3.Introduce participants to facility management practices, including the coordination, maintenance, scheduling, and daily operations required to support large-scale athletic and recreational facilities.
