We are looking for a Gymnastics Team Coach!

The purpose of this classification is to plan, develop, and coach competitive gymnastics athletes by implementing structured training programs, ensuring athlete safety, and fostering skill progression, performance readiness, and positive athletic development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides training, direction, motivation, and general wellness guidance to prepare athletes for practices and competitive events.
• Plans and implements structured training sessions to support athlete development and proper skill progression.
• Demonstrates and instructs correct gymnastics techniques and safe use of equipment.
• Evaluates athlete performance and adjusts coaching methods based on individual strengths and areas for improvement.
• Monitors athlete activities and enforces safety protocols to prevent injuries and ensure proper equipment use. 
• Prepares athletes for competitions, including routine development and performance readiness.
• Communicates effectively with athletes, parents/guardians, and staff regarding progress, expectations, and scheduling.
• Maintains attendance, performance records, and other required documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read and write English and six (6) months of experience in gymnastics, cheer-leading, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
